OS 1383: So…What Happened?

All of the guys were back in the studio for this week’s episode, and they were all shaking their heads. Seriously…why has it been so hard to find fish?  The guys talk about it at length…and they sounded like the Hee Haw guys: “Gloom, despair, and agony on me…”

Alberto Vanegas called in – he’s the man behind Amelia Island Land-Based Shark Charter – and talked about the amazing sharks he recently caught. You can check out some amazing pics, video, and a link to his charter business on our Facebook page.

Of course, snapper season continued today, so be mindful of the madness…

  • Here’s your L.V. Heirs Gear Tip of the Week: Capt. Kevin’s friend Morgan Howard has an Xtreme bait tank on his dock; it’s a recirculating well plumbed for a live well pump. He raves about how long his baits stay alive even without fresh water! If you have a dock you need to check out this bait well. Go to Xtremebaittanks.com to see the tank…and plenty of other products to see.
  • Here’s your Ring Power CAT tip of the week! Capt. Kevin’s boat seats were covered in mold, and he could NOT get them clean. His wife Carrie told him to switch cleaners, so he started using RMR-86 Mold and Mildew Remover…it worked like a charm!  His seats look brand new and the mold inside his lockers is gone!
