It’s fall, which means a lot of anglers start putting down their tackle and picking up their hunting gear. It also means football, which means Jeff becomes quite the busy man. Well, after two weeks in Britain, then two more games in ten days, it was time for him to take a little time to log some OSR. So, with him in the woods, Capt. Kevin and Capt. Kirk called in Ringpower Fishing Forecast co-host Capt. Scott Shank to chat it up.
Although hunting is at the top of people’s minds, don’t get it twisted – the fishing is still great…if you don’t mind it being a little nippy. The guys talk about it all and share some fun stories.

Here’s your KirbyCo Builders, Inc cooking tip of the week: You can’t have fish tacos without mango salsa! Here’s a great recipe to follow…▢ 1 ½ cups diced mango (1 large mango)▢ ⅓ cup chopped red bell pepper▢ ¼ cup chopped red onion▢ ½ jalapeño pepper, chopped▢ 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro▢ 1 tablespoon lime juice▢ ¼ teaspoon kosher saltStir all the ingredients together in a bowl. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt as needed. Let salsa rest 10-15 minutes before serving.
