Not gonna lie, Thanksgiving week has the Outdoors Show all messed up. Thursday’s festivities eliminated most outdoor activities, and it also knocked out the Fishing Forecast. Jeff was out again this week (doing some serious OSR, of course), so Capt. Kevin and Capt. Kirk pulled a rabbit out of their hats: they tapped BOTH of Kevin’s Forecast co-hosts, Capt. Scott Shank and Capt. Ricky “Hollywood” Poupore to come in for some fun!
So, with four charter captains in the studio, you could bet there’d be some fishing talk. But if you’re still thinking whitetail, there was A LOT of hunting talk, too. Jeff even called in to talk about how things have been going up in Georgia, and all the guys had plenty to talk about.
Here’s your L.V. Hiers gear tip of the week: If you’re gonna clean sheepshead, you could probably use a mega-box of disposable gloves. The guys are all about Dark Light black exam gloves!
