OS 1202: A Not-So-Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

The guys rolled into the studio this week shaking off the cold, rainy morning, and it was a little tough getting things going. But the good news is that bad weather makes for some great conversation. Lucky for you, when it comes to Kevin, Kirk and Jeff, they’re as good at conversation as they are at fishing and hunting.

Here’s your L.V. Hiers gear tip of the week: Easy DIY fishing rod rack stand. Get your wood shop friends to donate you some scrap wood. Use 6” wide wood to build a frame around a bunch of 1 1/4” thick wall PVC cut to 6” long. We used five 5’ sections of the PVC to get 50 cut pieces and used 49. Can make as big or as small as you like. Scrap piece of plywood on the bottom to secure.

Here’s your Ring Power CAT tip of the week: Join us LIVE at the Jacksonville Boat Show next Saturday from 7-10am!
