This week really turned out to be a contrast of outdoor activity. If you’re into hunting, as Capt. Kevin, Capt. Kirk and Jeff are, it was a great week…especially in Georgia and Pennsylvania (Kirk was doing some OSR up north, remember?) But if you’re an avid angler, Mother Nature dropped a bomb on you this week.
In response, Kevin skipped town…well, to be more accurate, it was his turn to take some deer down in Georgia this week, so he was out of studio. Thankfully, the crew was treated to the company of Capt. Steve Mullen!
Here’s your L.V. Hiers gear tip of the week: Captain Kirk says he carries Dead downwind Wind Checker every time he hits the woods. Listen in to find out what it is and where to get it.
Here’s your Ring Power CAT tip of the week from Captain Kevin: The weather is getting ready to turn cold. It doesn’t matter if you’re going to spend a day on the water or a cold day in a deer stand. Two of the warmest articles of clothing are: A fitted hoodie and a neck gaiter. Stay warm!
Here’s your Kirbyco Builders Inc. cooking tip of the week: Tillman’s Meats & Country Store pies.
Do yourself a favor and skip the hard work of making and baking a pie for Thanksgiving! Let Tillman’s do it for you! Jeff’s fav is their apple pie. Call ahead to order because they sell out fast! 904-268-1535
